Google Analytic

Google Analytic is very useful tool. I have been learning the different features it provides the past week. I am amazed how much detail is put into a report for a specific account. It can track the number of visitors that come to your site, track the duration of time spent by that visitor, the amount of pages that the visitor goes through AKA bounce rate, and the demographics of your visitors. So, for instance I have seven visitors that spend an average of six minutes on my blog. My bounce rate is 6.67% which means that my visitors take time to read through my content. Lastly, of those visitors, they come from Mississauga, Cooksville, Clarkson and Toronto. With GA we are able to make better improvements as well as marketing decision.

My Career Goals

With considerable thought about my future career, I am determined to make a name for myself!

After graduating from Sheridan I hope to work at a reputable marketing firm, which is probably the same idea as most of my classmates. I will apply what I have learned at Sheridan College to my full extent. My time and efforts will be dedicated to that company.  During my time at that firm I plan to learn as much as possible and to grow as a marketer. Ultimately I would like to start up a business of my own and use my knowledge and experiences to build my success.

So far this is my career goal that I believe is attainable for myself personally!

Welcome

Welcome to my blog.  I am a student in the Marketingprogram at Sheridan College.

I am enrolled in Digital Marketing 1, MKTG 20261.  As part of the course, I will write postings to this blog. This is my first official posting.
